How to add a Sew and Tell to Threadistry (and WIN!!)

One way you can participate in the Threadistry sewing community is to add your "Sew and Tells". This is your review of a sewing pattern or tutorial, and a chance to share your sewing. There is also a prize each month, randomly selected from the users who have added a Sew and Tell.

Today, I'm going to show you how to quickly add a Sew and Tell to Threadistry.

How to add a Sew and Tell to Threadistry. A Sew and Tell is a sewing pattern review and gets added to your personal projects library. It's a great way to share your love of sewing and keep an online diary of everything you've sewn. Happy sewing! #sewing #sewingjournal #sewingdiary

Firstly, you must have an account and be logged in to create a Sew and Tell. Click Log in/Register in the top right-hand corner. If necessary.

Every Sew and Tell is linked to the associated pattern or tutorial and can be added from the individual pattern page. In my example, I've sewn the Poinsettia Party Dress. To find that pattern in the Threadistry library, I click in the search box on the sidebar and enter the pattern name. You could enter the Pattern Designer's name to search.

Search for a sewing pattern on the online sewing pattern database on Threadistry

After clicking search, you'll be taken to the Pattern Search page. Click on the picture or title of the correct sewing pattern to go to the individual pattern page.

Note: If you can't find the pattern in the Threadistry library, you can add it yourself by clicking "Add Pattern" in the menu bar, or send an email to Narelle@threadistry.com with the pattern details and I'll get it added for you.
