Who can add patterns or tutorials to Threadistry?

Anyone with a confirmed user account can add patterns or tutorials to Threadistry. Patterns and tutorials must be approved by a moderator before they will appear on the site. Patterns can be edited by the creator of the pattern.

How do I add patterns to Threadistry?

Anyone can add patterns by clicking on the "add pattern" tab in the menu at the top and bottom of the page, or use this link: https://threadistry.com/node/add/project. You must be logged in to see the option. You can add as much as or as little information as you like, but the more you add, the easier it will be to find your pattern. Patterns need to be approved by a moderator before they appear on the site, usually within 72 hours.

What is the difference between a project and a Sew&Tell?

A project is an original sewing tutorial or pattern, providing detailed instructions for a person to be able to recreate the project. A "Sew&Tell" is a user's version created using a (linked) sewing tutorial or pattern.

Who created Threadistry?

Threadistry was created by Narelle from the blog Cook Clean Craft. A place like Ravelry was missing for the sewing world, so she set about creating it.

I don't want my patterns included on Threadistry. How do I get it removed?

Please send an email to Narelle@threadistry.com and we will delete the patterns/tutorials and ensure they don't get re-added. Sorry for the inconvenience.
