A Geek’s Cross Stitch Sampler
"Talk is cheap. Show me the code." Linus Torvalds. I married a guy whose first love was his computer and he loved Linux almost as much as he loved his computer. This sampler pattern is for everyone who loves their computer or like me, knows someone who does. And you can't have programs to run on your computer without code. This sampler includes a QWERTY alphabet in the place of a normal A to Z, a quote from Linux Guru Linus Torvalds, an Android with some Google +1s, Chrome symbols, and our favourite Open Source penguin: Tux. There are also power, battery, email and reload symbols, with the whole thing rounded off with a red border of 1s and 0s to continue the theme. It is a thoroughly geeky piece of stitching. The pattern is drawn for 14 count Aida and includes a floss legend for DMC thread. The finished product comes out at about 17cm by 20cm.
