Scallop Fabric Basket

il_570xN

This is for instructions to make this sweet pieced fabric basket. You can make it using several fabrics or a single fabric. Or make it plainer by omitting the scallop edge or rickrack. Lots of possibilities. This basket has many uses. It's perfect for Easter for both a girl or boy with it's different options. It would be great to welcome a new baby or new Mom. It would be nice for a housewarming gift. Leave the handle off and use it as a display basket. Makes a great Halloween basket too! This basket measures 6" in diameter and is about 6" tall. It is pieced together and has decorative top stitching, scallop edge with rickrack and button trims. It is nicely padded.
