When my son was little, he was completely obsessed with chickens (and we have no idea why!). We never ended up getting any chickens for the backyard, but I did sew him a few stuffed chickens.
I love that I can sew something special to suit his interests and personality. He loved having soft little chickens to cuddle and play with.

Felt chicken sewing patterns
For a realistic (but still simple and cute) option, check out the felt chicken family from Delilah Iris. There is an option for pose-able wire legs, or skip the legs for a nesting look.
