When my kids were little, there was always a sun hat or two in my nappy (diaper) bag. You never know when a kid is going to lose their hat (or a friend somehow leaves the house without one!
Sewing a handmade hat is a good project for a confident beginner sewist. It’s a great chance to make a hat that fits the style, interests and personality of your child (or just sew one to match every handmade outfit!
